Nabby Senior Camp
Our senior camp program is a more active, elective day than what is offered in our structured, junior camp program. The morning is more athletic, with no specials (arts & crafts, music, nature and gymnastics). Tennis instruction is also scheduled for each group every morning. Each afternoon, campers can choose their own program with their interest periods.
Interest period
Every week senior campers, ages 8 ½ -13, have the opportunity to choose their afternoon interest. They may select a sport or activity, for two separate, 45 minute periods every afternoon. Senior campers can challenge themselves to learn a new sport or devote more time to their favorite activity. Interests include all camp specials, team sports, or individual sports, such as archery, gymnastics or tennis. These activities are co-ed, and are directed by our senior staff. This year we are introducing a 90 minute period for campers who want to specialize in a more competitive team sport (baseball, basketball, lacrosse, etc.).
Special Events
Every Wednesday afternoon features a special event involving the entire co-ed senior camp. Relay Races, Capture The Flag, Predator and Prey, and the ever popular, Apache Relay, are a few of the Wednesday traditions that senior campers look forward to each year.
The Head of the Senior Camp runs these special Wednesday activities in a true camp tradition. There is much excitement and anticipation in striving for the coveted trophies where the winning team can earn a place in Nabby history.
