Our very own “Local Hero”!

Camper, Ashley Miritello, from Yorktown, was acknowledged by the Journal News as being a 'local hero' for her efforts to bring comfort to sick children with her pillow project. Please visit her website for more information.

Our staff member, Kim Kastuk, former Putnam Valley star goalie, recently made the news for her success as the varsity goalie at the University of Virginia field hockey team. We invite you to read about her transition from Boston University to the University of Virginia and then competing in the National semifinals. Congratulations Kim!!
