Summer Camp Counselors

Nabby is known for its energetic, athletic, and professional staff.

Comprised of mostly teachers, coaches, and students in the field of education, our staff is one of our greatest strengths. We emphasize a hands-on approach based on positive reinforcement to cultivate a confidence-building environment for your child. Campers will benefit from age-appropriate programs designed to allow our staff to help develop a sense of teamwork, a respect for the rules of the game, and individual skills. Traditionally, our staff has epitomized the Nabby spirit of active fun, averaging over 70% choosing to return year after year.

Our staff comprises of 2 camp head counselors (one for junior camp groups and one for senior camp groups), group head counselors (pictured  above), assistant group counselors, and in the junior camp, counselors-in-training (CIT’s). We also have specialty counselors, office and medical personnel, maintenance workers, and lunch room staff. In all, there are approximately 110 staff members that make our camp special for children. We take pride in our staff, and know it is the most important ingredient for a safe, successful summer.
