Summer Camp Activities
A balanced program of summer camp activities including sports and special interest programs.
Music. For junior campers, our music specialty covers the basics of song, dance, and games, and culminates in an end of the summer show! Senior campers can take music during their interest period if they wish to hone their skills in the performing arts.
Arts & Crafts encourages children to create and play, offering camp favorites, such as tie dying and lanyard. It is scheduled daily for junior campers, and offered as an afternoon interest period for senior campers.
Nature. Ranger Rick Lee, a naturalist, who has a unique and extremely hands-on approach to teaching children about wildlife and the natural outdoors, runs the nature program. It is scheduled weekly for junior campers, and offered as an afternoon interest period for senior campers.
Tennis is a scheduled morning activity for every senior camp group and is offered as an interest period in the afternoon. Tennis is also an option for third graders at the end of the day. Our summer tennis camp program teaches the basics as well as giving more skilled players a chance to compete in matches.
Gymnastics offers campers a chance to twist, tumble and roll. Flexibility, body awareness and balance are developed under the careful supervision of our staff. Summer Camp Gymnastics is scheduled daily for junior campers, and offered as an afternoon interest period for senior campers.
